Raven...when did your roosters start crowning? Mine are at 4 months. I'm wondering if I need to find a rooster.

I think about a month ago, maybe? So, 5 months, I think? Not too sure... by 2 months I had an idea of genders, by 3 months I knew I had an even split... got any pictures? Haven't seen yours since they were chicks!

Oh, I had the same exact thing happen when I got my first batch of Lavender Ameraucanas, lol... went through all kinds of BS trying to get a decent boy...

If I'd have known a month ago I could have helped you out... but if you can't find one by the time ours are laying, we can probably get you a cockerel then...

That seems crazy. I would have bet on having a majority of roos.
