Chicken Stuck Under House for 6 Days!

6 days ago I couldn't find my hen, Hummingbird. After searching everywhere, I found feathers, and assumed that she had been taken by a fox. Then today as I was about to leave on an errand, I looked over and saw her pacing back and forth under the house! I separated her from the flock in a small coop with food and water. She's acting fine, but she's skinny and her voice is scratchy. She's eating like crazy and drinking too, but I'm still worried about her and I'm wondering if there's anything else I can do to help her gain weight and get back to normal. I'm going to feed her chick food for extra protein, and tomorrow I'm going to make her scrambled eggs with mealworms. She'll also get electrolytes in her water. What else should I be doing for her?
She doesn't have the top of her beak and she's molting. She's also 6 years old and no longer laying.

It happens.
I've "seen" a chicken accidentally locked up in a shed for weeks and somehow survived.
If she is eating and drinking she will more than likely be fine.
Extra protein is a good idea!
Mixing an egg each day into her feed is a great idea.
Don't give TOO many treats though...the complete chicken feed is what she really needs the most...too many treats can make her fill up on them and keep her from eating the complete feed.

What do you mean by "she doesn't have the top of her beak?"
Can you post a picture of that?

I had something similar happen to me! My AG roo went missing for a few days and we assumed a fox got him I was heart broken.

One morning I went out and there he was!! Looked like heck but made a full recovery. He was covered in cobwebs, so we assume he was stuck under the porch. Which is so funny because it's very easy to get in and out of...

No one ever accused him of being the brightest chicken in the flock!

And I should have said not to pay attention to the title of the article..
