Hi! There is a chicken who hass a blurry or foggy eye on one side (the eye on the other side is normal). Is there anything I should do for it? Is it serious?
The chicken acts normal and is very friendly. I don't think the eye affects her aim/peck.
Any help would be appreciated!

(one picture is of the good eye, the other is of the foggy one)

Is it the right or left eye? I’m assuming left and if so that eye is for far sighted and doesn’t affect near food or peck like the right because the right is for near sighted. I hope she gets better soon!

It could be infected, a cataract, a peck wound, or possibly early sign of Mareks. Could you get a better picture in good liget? I would rinse it with saline and apply some Terramycin or plain Neosporin twice a day.

She's a friend's chicken, so I haven't been around her much. This is the first time I've noticed the eye. I'll have to ask them to take a picture for me. But thanks for the advice!
