Its pretty awesome of a show, if you ever have the opportunity to go you should, its not the biggest but Id guess there is at least 1-2k birds on good years I'll post a few pics when Im there.

The show went well, met a few new people and saw some old aquaintances. Didnt get to observe the birds as much as I hoped, my 2 young kids were wild so we had to focus on keeping them at bay haha..

Didnt plan on getting them but I picked up 2 more white bantams, one looks real nice just a bit older, the other one seems pretty young just holds its back and tail low, but has great eye colour, nice beak, and a wideback end.

Also got a lavender boy to test breed 2 of my black hens, their mom was split to lavender so I wanna try to eliminate the lav gene before I use them in my blue or white lines.

Hope everyone made it through the storms safely. 2 of the neighbor's tree tops snapped off and one landed on my wifes car, the other on a chicken tractor. Everyone was okay, but spent all day yesterday cleaning up.. and the kids playhouse got destroyed

Oh wow. We just had strong winds here. Glad to hear that no one got hurt.

Went to a friends last night and picked up a bantam Wheaten x black hen cross I hatched out this summer. He grew them out and sent this guy home with me. He has some cool colouring. Hope it helps my wheatens type next spring. Also attached a pic of his sister that I kept beside their dad.

trichocereus peruvianus, Ive worked in horticulture for 8 of the last 10 years. You meet some real cool people especially working at nurseries.. Shout out to Jimmy an old head who gave me a cutting of this girl. I now have 5 mother plants and over 20 more of these babies once they dry out a bit and I root them. Happy New Years
