Chickens and Flowers

The only plants living here are Zucchinis, Pomegranates,pears, lettuce and some flowers.

Oh that's sad you could not grow much!!
We have been getting a little rain here and there.
I hope you get some rain soon!

We finally got about an inch last week, grass was yellow until this week. Our normal rainfall from June to September is around 24 inches, I think we got an inch and a half all summer. Worst I have ever seen. Hopefully we get lots of winter snows! Hopefully you get more rain down there too!

Wow! I wonder why there is less rain this year!
We get some snow here too. I hope next year is a beautiful green year with lots of Rain.

We've been going deeper into drought up here for the past 20 years. Every year it seems to get worse. BUT, 2022 and 2021 were banner years for rain and snow, normal to nearly double the moisture, so it only makes sense this droughty area would make up for all of it this year.

How was the moisture down there this summer? We used to go to El Paso when my mom lived down there, we haven't been in 2 years.
