Chickens and geese or chickens and ducks?

I absolutely love waterfowl and would like to add some into my flock of chickens. I love Cayugas and I love black East Indies as well, but I also love American buff geese, pilgrim geese and Sebastopols. I’m looking for something that will be friendly and cute but also get along very well with my chickens. Something that won’t need too much extra feed, won’t be mean to them, etc. what do you guys suggest? It would only be temporary lasting no longer than a year to get a completely separate duck pen. Thanks!

Both species can be rough to chickens. My buff geese run the chickens off. I only keep muscovy ducks. They occasionally goose the chickens and vice versa. Ducks can get pretty messy with water so if your coop isn't really large you may have problems.

My Cayuga s are AGRESSIVE to my chickens and to other ducks and run them off, my drake even bosses around my giant rooster.

It would be best to wait until you do have separate housing for ducks, or geese.
