That would be hawthorn - but if you want a vine, Florida is suffering an invasion of Asian skunkvine, so named because of the sulfur compounds in the leaves.

Plant in on their side - tell 'em it's a gift from your friends at BYC!

I would put up a nice solid fence on YOUR side of the property line. And then paint their side hot pink with lime green stripes. If they paint over it, hire a professional painter to fix it and send them the bill.

When I put up my electric fence I set it back at least a foot. Only way to touch it would be to be trespassing on my property. If I was really hateful, I would plant some of those ugly vines that stink and then put a camera on them.....so when they try to kill or cut them, hire another expensive person to fix it and send them the bill.

Then take them to court when they dont pay, with video as proof.

It would be worth it for the satisfaction.

Also, their cat would disappear permanently next.

also, hang some of those fly bags just on your side of your fence out back. They smell like DEATH. And they attract flies TO the bags. Two reasons why you are supposed to put them AWAY from where you are....to keep the stench away and the flies away. Its not your fault that AWAY from you is NEAR them. Right? Right-o.

See if you can interest him in running his diesel truck on vegetable oil. My son does this and whereas diesel used to make me sick too, the smell of french fry oil is not unpleasant but more importanly does not make me sick. There are people all over who know how to fit a diesel engine to run on leftover restaurant fry oil.
