I met ostriches today, and now I love them 😂😍

Hmmm, wonder if an ostrich in the yard would scare the hawks away? Bet one of those stomping around the yard might intimidate any of our local predators.... yeah, that would work. Would definitely have to raise the roof of the coop-run area though, only 6ft high, can't have him banging his head on the roof at night.... or do I have to dig a hole in the ground for him to stick his head in? 🤪🤣

Huh, good to know where that myth started, never really thought about why they're characterized like that, too many cartoons as a kid 🤣

Now maybe emus? More my size and those eggs are gorgeous! Actually there is someone in our county that raises emus, perhaps I should go have a looksee... 🤔

I don't know why but Emus are more intimidating to me than Ostriches 😅
I wouldn't get an Emu because here there's too many legal requirements. I shall remain baffled you all can just go out and buy one 😳.
