See this is a parakeet! I just don't get it

Yes! They're budgies! There are hundreds of species of "parakeet" I find it so weird you call them that!

I call them budgies but my mom calls them parakeets, I always confuse her when I say budgies

OK so sorry to barge in like that. I went through a BIG budgerigar phase 5 or so years ago. Like I was wanting to get a pair and everything. The parrot keeper within me has died now, but I still like a good budgie. Beautiful pair. Is Winston an English budgie

Well they also say a teeny cage with a bunch of tunnels and colored plastic is appropriate for a hamster so

OK so sorry to barge in like that. I went through a BIG budgerigar phase 5 or so years ago. Like I was wanting to get a pair and everything. The parrot keeper within me has died now, but I still like a good budgie. Beautiful pair. Is Winston an English budgie
