We use to have a owl in our neighbors tree that hoots every time we went outside. He moved on now. But another one lives a few blocks away
 
Great horned owls here, love to listen to them hooting back and forth.

There's a dead tree that one owl likes to perch in, happens to have a direct view of the chicken run. The owl was out before sunset the other day and hooting at my girls, making them just a wee bit nervous LoL. Sorry Mr Owl, no chicken dinner for you! 😁

That's what we call the hawk that lives here, Screechy, she's quite loud, especially if another raptor comes into her territory.

The hawks here are terrible. I don’t see them very often but they hide in the worst places and get a lot closer to my unsuspecting chickens then I’d like. Thankfully I’ve always caught them in time but probably one of these days my luck is going to run out :(
