I have officially declared war over the chicken shed with the mice!

I cleaned out the chicken shed with my trust feline companion Tiger. We didn't see any mice, but there was a ton of mouse droppings and by watching Tiger's body language he said they were under the shed.

It was a lot worse than I thought, they even nibbled into my pine shavings to furnish their nests. I got some pictures, but can't upload them at the moment.

Currently the feed and shavings are outside, it isn't supposed to rain until Friday.

I set out a couple diy duct tape traps baited with peanut butter. Wishing us all luck tonight! :fl

Hi! So, I have only 3 hens and as much as I would love to add on, we just do not have the space/ time for more. When we first got them, it was initially for eggs but now I really want to get into the show business! I am looking for ways to make money off of my hens without a rooster, chicks or selling eggs (Right now only one is laying but the eggs are amazing!) Any Ideas?

Um, if you get space and time you could raise day old chicks the the age of eight weeks, or sell eating eggs (if you ever get enough), or maybe feathers for fly fishing? I don't know.

Show is so fun! Go for it!

What names are your chickens and what breeds?
