CNN article has me laughing

They had me at this first sentence:
" Most humans fall into one of four blood groups — A, B, AB or O. "

I will admit I have an unusual curiosity about those other humans now.

Or education. So many reporters these days lack common knowledge.

I'm not surprised coming from CNN, but that is a good chuckle thinking about the "others".

Thanks to wikipedia, I've found some of them:

No A, B, AB, or even O in these folks' blood!

And I now know a fair bit more about blood types than I did four hours ago...

Ok I only knew we were all A, B or O. Regardless a 1950s article was a bit of a deep dive into the internet. I hope you can rest with a cool cloth. I only meant to poke fun at CNN and their reporting. Regardless, I offer you the tip of my hat for securing CNN's virtue. Administering blood to another human being has so many checks and balances. Been there and have done that but nobody ever bought me a t-shirt.

What you posted led me to read the article, and further down the page the article mentioned "rare blood types," so then I got curious... and one link led to another...

So I had fun, and then of course I had to come share that the reporter was actually right!

I am always happy to be wrong. I just could never get away giving the wrong blood to the wrong people. Seriously you just have to fill in four blocks on a diagram. Well that and trust the lab geeks that it is safe. Ok we are hosed.
