The person that does the chick ordering said that individual stores when they order can ask to have the newly hatched chicks immunized before delivery to store. However the chicks at the Yakima store are NOT given any, only thing they have is the shock gel, medicated feed, and after first day probiotics/ electrolytes in water. She said they had a large amount of customers that did not want any immunizations.
This can change from year to year as the guy who ordered last year said he had them immunized for Mareks and one other before delivery. So if you are getting chicks at a feed store track down who ordered and ask if they were immunized or not.
