I have a blue frizzled rooster, from him I'm getting about half the chicks frizzled. You want to make sure to keep him with smooth feathered hens so you don't get a double frizzled gene. You can find tons info on BYC about frizzles. I'm not an expert or I would give you more info.

I did read about the 'frazzle' thing, Half frizzles are good, I like regular cochins as well.

Thanks for answering, any suggestions on what color ladies I should get him?

Also, do you have any pictures of the fellow? I'd love to see your roo! I've looked up pictures of blue frizzle roos and only a few pictures came up.

If you're breeding Andalusian Blue you will get Black and Splash, but Black is probably more involved in breeding self-blue which is a dilution of Black.

Andalusion Blue is diluted black, Self Blue is the lavender gene.
