I guess I should just say, he's not a recognized color and you won't be able to find anything that defines him. Pretty boy.
I would highly suggest, since he appears to be a mix (straight tail feathers are a big no-no) plus the dark beak (and i'm guessing from that dark foot coloring), that unless you want to produce more mutts, I wouldn't use him with any cochins.What color would this roo be? It was labeled blue columbian (or blue buff columbian) or blue calico. I looked for pictures but can't find any that look like him.
He is one of my favorites. I just love his coloring! I would love to hatch more for my yard but the only hens I have are calico, black, mottled, buff and lavendar. I just put him with my calico to see what they make.![]()
