Cochin Thread!!!

I only have 2 bantam cochins right now and am interseted in more. I'm more interested in standard sizes than the bantams, smooth or frizzle, and am open to a wide variety of colors. I'm mostly looking for fun pets who produce eggs. Daily isn't necessary, as this is just for the fun of it. May consider mixed breeds. Please PM me if you have anything for sale and are within [roughly] a 2-3 hour drive from Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

Black frizzle bantam, white bantam. Black is 1/2 the size of white, but not sure if they were born on the same day or not. They're about 2 1/2 weeks old, give or take. The white also has ridges rising up and flies at the other birds and chest-bumps them.

I tried so many times to get a side shot but the little buggar keeps moving. You can barely see the ridges rising on the comb, but they're higher than they look. The black frizzle is growing but not really rising. Ignore the black silkie in the background. She's being nosey.

See what I mean about the white being at least 2 X's bigger? Okay, so he's upright and alert so is making himself look bigger. But you can still see my point on how much bigger the white is compared to the black frizzle in the middle that's roughly the same age. The black silkie on the left is a week older than them.

That's disappointing to hear. I have 10 of her eggs in my incubator now. Had to toss 8 that were clear after 2 weeks of incubating. I'm not getting off to a very good start in finding high quality cochins to start a flock. Guess I'll be taking these to the chicken swap to re-home.
Some of the better Cochins in the USA are in Viginia. He does not ever sell chicks or eggs only adults. Tom Roebuck of Unionville.
