Ole roscoe my bantam cockerel after a little clean up.

Here's a few pictures of 3 of my bantam cochins. They all got a bath a couple days ago and will be going to the fair on Tuesday. Any thoughts on them as for showing type, etc.

Hmm, I will certainly never have to buy saddles for my girls. My rooster dances like mad, but only on rare occasions actually mates with anybody. I know he came from a line where AI has been the only means of procreation for a long time - I wonder if that has a lot to do with it, that the drive to actually mate has been bred out. Maybe I need to play them a chicken version of Barry Manilow or something.

Not gonna happen, he's probably waiting until you're not around. The reason they have to be AI'd is due to the fluff not the sex drive. If he has no interest he's sick.

Hey all.

Went out to the farm and thought i would share some unusual birds a friend is working on. This is the place where all my culls go to be sold or swapped for food.

Here is a girl i found rather fascinating, appears to be an birchen, on a e^b partridge base. Lovely markings around the neck, but the strange fuzzy patterns of a poorly marked partridge.

What do you think?

Here is another cull from a birchen program, again showing great markings, but a rather strange slate grey under colour.

This girl is going through a moult, but you get the picture.

And lastly, my girlfriend holding some rather strange poultry
