Cochin Thread!!!

I have a Cochin temperament question. My assorted roo chicks are moved into the sun room where crowing won't bother the neighbors. Because of being in solitary they get no social time.I feed and that is it. Most of the roos run to the back and wait for me to leave a couple are actually mean. All but one, the white Cochin,he runs up to me says hi and loves it if I pet him.He never jumps or pecks at me and even gets in the way alot.Yesterday he perched on my arm while I was trying to place the feeder. He is actually nicer then my "pet" polish hen.Are Cochin known for being this naturally friendly or is he exceptionally social?
My bantam cochins are easy to handle. My large fowl cochins are ridiculously docile. easy to handle, pick up and never show any fear or aggression.

They are very friendly chickens. Silkies and Cochins are well known for being children friendly breeds.

He was sold as 1 of 4 frizzles but he didn't turn out frizzle. The other 3 are ok to handle but not like him. I might try to keep him or at least find a home for him.He is just to friendly for freezer camp.

he sounds fairly normal... the only breed I've ever had that was MORE social and outgoing (believe it or not, they do exist!) is the Swedish flower hens... and I didn't think it was possible until I got mine.

even in the brooder, the one that has the cochin babies is pretty laid back. the one with the ee/dorking/Wyandotte mutts are all 'freakazoids' according to hubby
