Cochin Thread!!!

This is my LF Cochin girl. She is still young and her tail is still growing in. She is a solid black Cochin it was my lighting that makes her not look so. Could you guys till me what you think of her. Thanks

I know very little about LF but I think she's very nice if she is still young. She's not bad if she's an adult, but I'd like to see a bit more skirt. She looks VERY good in those first two pics.

Here is a pic of one of my white hens i use as a broody.

What i found odd was that she hatched this chick two weeks ago and already is laying, here she is, with her little mottled keeping her company.

Ok, thank you. Yes she is still young she hasn't started to lay yet her face is just starting to turn red.

I can't wait for her to be full grown and see what she is going to look like.

Thank you! I have an issue of picking apart my own birds..it's why I got the Mille Fleurs and then these happened. I've started getting away from the Mille Fleurs overall, but I am definitely liking the Wheaten color.

I'd like to see more overall fullness to her body, but her wing carriage and that of the male are excellent. Neither have weak wings, which is a huge thing for me. Nothing like a great overall bird with good stance, to see the wing dropping or completely separated from the body.

Well I haven't updated lately, but my big girl Lavender hatched out 6 chicks! None of which are hers. lol ...3 Silkies, a Minorca x SLl/Wyandotte, a SL?Wayndotte, and a EE x SL?Wyandotte. They are all adorable, and for six months old she is an A+ mother. Here they are watching and learning how to dust bathe.
