Cochin Thread!!!

Bottom pic IS a hen. I don't see a difference in combs except that they are different sizes
I don't remember what site I got the Black one from but it said it was a rooster and mine crows, fights with other males and tries to mate with the hens. I don't think "it" could be a hen. The thing I am trying to figure out is: Why would the different colors of Cochins have different sizes of combs if they are both roosters?

My Cochin is a proud momma of 2 new babies she just hatched and has 4 more hatching!

Colors don't affect comb size. Genetics do. Different lines of the same breed could have totally different sized combs, like your's do. There's nothing wrong with that.
Thank you. I just wasn't sure they were both Cochins but I didn't want to put that idea in anyone's head so I didn't mention it.

Our first cochins arrive tomorrow morning. We got the assortment from Cackle, so i can't wait to see the colors we get. Probably not show quality, but should be pretty :)

Babies arrived, we got a nice selection of colors. We got 1 white, 1 splash, 2 buff, 2 black, 2 barred, 3 silver laced, 3-4 gold laced and 1-2 partridge (a couple are hard to tell the difference on a couple). Super excited since they only had 3 colors listed as available for that day.
