Cochin Thread!!!

I picked up 2 cochins and 1 is noticeably bigger than the other. I assumed they were both females but now I am wondering iff the buff is a male. Also not sure how old it is. My guess would be 15 weeks maybe.
Can anyone tell me male/female and age guesstimate?
Thanks!

I got two new Cochins yesterday! They are 4 weeks old and look promising for pullets. A blue Cochin and the black is crossed with a SLW. I think they are both adorable!

I think the Blue is a definite pullet. The Co/Wy could be either at this point. I cross breed my Cochin with my Wyandotte to produce feathered incubators and good fryers. They make wonderful mothers.

Are you sure both are the same age? It is hard to tell sex without seeing the whole bird. That head picture and color on the comb could mean a cockerel if the body type matches. I have pullets at 15 weeks that look similar in the face....

Hi everyone, sorry if this is a completely noobie thing to do, but I have two cochin girls and a friend of mine who has chooks seems certain that they are roos so I wanted a second opinion from some people who know the breed. They are 15 weeks old in this pic. Thanks for the help :)

He was judging more on behaviour and growth that they are roos but the lack of wattles and comb even by this age tells me that they must be girls.
