I'm amazed at the difference in Cochin hens - some have big combs like Gracie and a few of your other girls, and some barely a bit of pink there.

Since living with my blue pullet I got from you, I have found I LOVE Cochins, and still want at least one more. With the price of gas though, it's getting hard to justify the drive ......maybe when one of my girls goes broody I should buy a few eggs from you through the mail and take my chances?

Hello cochin lovers! I have caught the cochin bug, and NEED to invest in some blue or splash pullets/hens or even chicks really. I am not really planning on showing them, but I do want them to be close to standard requirements. Body type, and personality are my 2 most important areas of picky-ness. I am only interested in LF at this point, and I have 3 cochin roosters, black and blue, so I am hoping to stick with females, no matter how old. Not all 3 roosters will end up staying, but so far they are all so sweet, and pretty.....It'll be a hard choice! Any points in the right direction are much appreciated!

Mrs. Puff laid her very first egg today! So excited!

Now I just need to get her a boyfriend. Hopefully the Cochin eggs I put in the bator from a neighbor will hatch out a good looking dude for her.

Here is my Cochin baby grown up a little. He isn't white, more of a porcelain color. Does everyone still think splash?? Also, any idea on sex? I'm thinking roo? I love his color I have never seen it on a LF Cochin.

You guys are lucky, with the way things have been going this spring............so many cockerels. I had one hatch of 5 chicks and all 5 are cockerels.
