Speaking of hatching eggs, does anyone have buff bantam eggs??? I have the most handsome of roosters, his dad was a show bird, but the poor little dude has no buff hens, so thought I'd try to hatch some for him

I love mine too!  My only cochin, a white cochin, just laid her first egg today!!!!!!  So excited!!!!!  It looks more white than tinted/brown and it is SO little!!!!

I have a mixed flock but when it comes to Cochins I have a LF barred rock roo and a small spectate bantam flock of Mottled (2 Roos / 4 hens).

Can anyone tell me what they think? I bought the rooster last year. I have had buffs for a few year(all that i can find around here) What do you think? I think maybe calico(yes I know it is not a real color) but i figured I could have these pretties. Not sure of the color of the frizzle hen, buff columbian? The others are easy, buff and white(not pictured)

Those are GORGEOUS birds! They defiantly look like they have some calico in them. For me, the frizzles are hard to tell color but I would have to say some calico for sure. Love the calico color, good luck!
