finally got some newer pics of my cochins for you- the first are my special group- banty cochins, on the left is izzy, a cochin mix, then snowball and last Captain- the most awesome little roo!

What a pretty chick! AND you have 16 more!! You're so lucky. I have 5 laveneder eggs in the incubator, 2 more weeks to go, I hope I get some cause after seeing those on the lavender thread I just have to have some!

I know what you mean. I thought Mille Fleur Cochin were enough of a project for me but somehow I now have two separate color projects with very different genetics.

I think I have to face the fact that I am a chicken hoarder .

This week I am picking up 38 chickens adding to the 12 I have now, 50+ chicks, 5 eggs in the incubator, more eggs in the mail and 2 hens shipping in on Friday.

Yep, I'm losing my mind! lol!

BAA HAHAHAHA! Oh your not a horder yet.. Try 167..make that 168 chickens here.. Was 96 but now 95 as one just hatched in Lockdown! Plus another 100+ cooking due for lockdown on the 12th.. And set up to buy another 3hens... Lol now not all of mine are cochin but half are and if hatches go well then about 75% will be... Lol plus let not forget your selling me some of those chickens and/or chicks...lol! Hopfully anyway..lol

it's funny I have a 6 stall horse barn that has been about half way converted to chicken pens and coops... Not to mention the 2 booders on the porch, 2 brooders in the house, and 10 pens housing seramas and bantam cochins on my porch too..and yes I do have empty cages.. Hahaha!
