While both Bantam (Feather-Legged Class) and Large Fowl (Asiatic Class) are found in lots of new and exciting colors, these are the color varieties recognized by the APA and ABA:

Bantam Varieties:
1) Barred
2) Birchen
3) Black
4) Blue
5) Brown Red
6) Buff
7) Columbian
8) Golden Laced
9) Mottled
10) Partridge
11) Red
12) Silver Laced
13) White

The following colors are also recognized by the ABA (Bantam), but they are not listed on the APA's list of recognized colors for Bantams. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge can clarify the discrepancy:
14) Black Tailed Red
15) Buff Columbian
16) Lemon Blue
17) Silver Pencilled

Large Fowl Varieties:
1) Barred
2) Black
3) Blue
4) Brown
5) Buff
6) Golden Laced
7) Partridge
8) Silver Laced
9) White

Thanks!!!
Any pics???

Yes, there are. I saw some that are extremely nice I think, at the Lucasville, OH show and also the National in Columbus, OH I think. They are VERY nice, I remember well because I expected them to be terrible. I've been looking for the exhibitor list, but I haven't found it yet. I do remember they were bred and owned by someone on the East Coast. This same person also had some other varieties, but I can't remember what they were. I've been really impresses with the quality of the LF cochins this fall at the shows I've been to, they are gorgeous!

I saw some down south once also. I know this doesn't help much because I'm not producing any concrete connections, but I can at least tell you they are out there, GOOD ones.
It wasn't so very long ago that LF birchen cochins hardly even looked like cochins in my book, now there are some giants that will take your breath away.

There have been some really serious, excellent breeders working really hard on them and I'm impressed.

Hey I wanted to post a link to some of my pics of Large Partridge Cochins. What do you all think? I took the pics late in the afternoon all by my lonesome, so there wasn't just a whole lot of posing going on, but I'll get your opinions before I start to defend my birds. lol. Planning on showing in Shawnee but who knows how we'll do

Oh my, awesome, my DH had one so close to his heart for decades named Satan...and another in every room of his house.
Dobies everywhere.
As far as I know he only showed the the Calif area, mainly the Bay Area.
Then he had too many kids~
