Apparently breeding season is underway at Golden Feather Farm. I've save my first couple eggs, have lights on in two buildings and will turn the timers on a couple others this weekend once I get breeders moved around.
RE: the talk about the Cochins that are much smaller than they should be. Any time I may happen to get a "runt," that bird is culled. They aren't of any use in a breeding program, probably won't lay if they are pullets, and would pass on poor genetics even if you could get them to breed.
