Cochin Thread!!!

To the cochin coop:
I LOVE your sig line, "oh look a chicken" and "chickens are like potato chips you can't have just one"
Priceless!
I seriously don't know what I did before raising chickens? I love my dog and two cats but the chickens have won my heart.
We so enjoy sitting outside with them, holding them, talking to them and just watching them do their chicken thing.
We call it Chicken TV. In fact we don't even have our one TV hooked up, don't need it - have chickens!

I am, 2011 is my last year, I have to send in my dues after some bills get caught up. I paid for 5 years then, and will prolly do the same now, if not more(hopefully). *Sigh* Bills,....

I was thinking 1 and 4 as well. So maybe we are right! LOL. Im not worried about the vulture hocks, he has black shanks too. That is also a DQ, so he doesnt have a chance at being SQ. He will still look cute in my run. And maybe he will grow out of them. The vulture hocks, not his legs.

Good point Craig. It would be nice if all of the Cochin enthusiasts joined Cochins International. As the most recent past President I can vouch that it's a good organization.

Also, the club is making a few changes. One of the things we've put in place is a new club forum. The link for it is as follows: http://showbirdbid.proboards.com/index.cgi

You
have to set up an account. Many of the breed clubs have their forums on the showbirdbid proboard site. Not trying to take anything away from BYC, but the focus of the Cochin Club forum is more along the lines of exhibition Cochins.
