breeding 2 frizzles together is generally a bad idea. the feathers are more brittle, there are fewer of them generally, and the bird ends up looking like a nearly bald porcupine because the soft bits of feather break off leaving a bare shaft. they can not maintain body heat as easily either, cannot fly, and has a much higher metabolism to be able to keep up with heat production to stay warm all the time.

I have never seen a Columbian cochin color in our local area. It would be nice.. My Cochin wants to be a momma really badly. She keeps sitting on the eggs.
if she's gone broody you could always buy some hatching eggs of a variety you want and put them under her.
