That's great!
I would repost everything you did here on the BYC forum. Can you guys help me with my partridge pullet?
She developed this swollen eye a few days back. I posted on the emergencies forum. Someone suggested flushing the eye with one cup of water boiled with a teaspoon of salt to clean out whatever might have been in her eye. Did that. Nothing happened. Eye still looks the same.
I have no idea what happened to this girl.I went out one morning and found her like this. I couldn't find any sign of injury in or around the eye.
Should I be worried? Can this be a disease of some sort or she really just got something in her eye and it's taking forever for it to heal?? I've never had experience with these sorts of things with chickens.![]()
What is that little bit of pale yellow showing at the 'corner' of her eye? Borrom left..towards the beak?
Her good eye.

I'll give the VetRX a try. I'll find some antibiotics also to give to her, we should have some in the barn.Looks like a sinus infection to me. Just treated a bird for one, and like yours it just appeared one day. She acted totally fine otherwise, but had this spot on her, just like your bird. It got massive before I got it taken care of. I also put her to herself, especially since she was penned with birds who shared a waterer, and didnt want it spread through my flock. Gave her antibiotics and cleaned it every other day with warm water, and flushed it with VetRX every day I cleaned it. In a little over a week, she was as good as new.
