Meg, so sorry about the still born calf.
Finally got caught up. I think. I'm still sitting around pouting over my lost filling and its implications. Oh well, who needs canines anyway?
I used to have one person on the 'ignore' list. Got really ticked off at them. Kept them on ignore until my red headed genes settled down and paroled them. But they are still on parole....and no nobody here on the coffee club.
We just had the funniest thing happen. We had the cattle dogs in the hobby room playing with them and all of a sudden, Varn looked at Diesel and started growling at him. Diesel hadn't done anything to him at all. Just looked at him. I told dh to grab Diesel and I grabbed Varn and proceeded to calm Varn (who's a little hot head) down. They grumbled and postured at one another and then suddenly stopped so we let them go. They walked by one another, Diesel turned around and looked at Varn and BAM! They were at it. The other dogs ran for cover. We were trying to grab collars, they were like two Tasmanian Devils going at it, fur flying, snarling teeth flashing, their food bowl went flying, DH grabbed a broom and I grabbed a snow shovel and we managed to get them between them and push them apart.
The minute they were apart, it stopped like turning off a switch. I got Diesel calmed down, DH got Varn calmed down and then they were fine with one another.
Males....sometimes you just wonder about em.
