Hi, @ValerieJ! You most certainly may join. Welcome to Coffee With Tink- it is great to have you here with us. :)
Tink indeed was a wonderful hen. I miss her much, but she'll never be forgotten.
I was given (before Tink's passing) an ornament that looks exactly like her. It's my favorite!! :D

That's a great ornament. Not sure I'd put it away after Christmas. It is so hard to lose our favorites, and having mementos around helps a little. I have a video of one of mine that is very special to me.

This is pix from when first brought inside. Wanted to share a DISCOVERY that DW, did. To prolong life inside home, and prevent needles from falling off, tree is watered with Miracle Grow:yesss:
miracle grow.PNG We use this stuff regularly throughout the year. Winter time, indoor plants, and Christmas tree. It makes the tree last AMAZINGLY WELL. :thumbsup
In years past, we tried everything, from sugar, to aspirin, and anything else someone would suggest, including vegetable oil once.

Gorgeous tree Cavey, it has such a nice shape. And I can almost smell that lovely fresh scent all the way here!
