My son's girlfriend sent some gifts along for me. Well I found one thing for her but,want to get another. Asking him what she likes turned up a dead end. Maybe it's things he doesn't want to mention.

She calls me Nancy. I was kinda hoping to be called "Mom!"

Does she have a hobby? Is there something she is aspiring to do? Pets? Activities?

As far as I know she doesn't have any dogs but I think she has a cat. If so I will force myself to accept she is cat person and not hold it against her. Actually my own son doesn't care for animals. Where did I go wrong??

Sometimes they fall further from the tree than we think. Does she work? Does she collect anything?

If she has a hobby or paints, you could get something in the supplies arena. If she works in an office, a nice pen is always a good gift. If she collects anything, that a no-brainer. If she skies, or spends a lot of time out in the very cold, then gloves or ear muffs. And scarves are always a good bet for girls.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, and Happy Hanukkah, and whatever other Holiday Celebration others may be celebrating at this time. I will be most busy next 2 days, so not likely to be online.
Wanted to share a pix of tree.

The treasured decorations are the ones my children made. The memories associated with those are soooooo precious.
Here is a pix of the winter scenery DW (mostly) has been working on. It is not complete in this stage (work in progress), but the more complete picture came out,, out of focus. I will try to get more pix when the grandchildren finish some more decorating on Christmas Eve.

Happy New Year, everybody! I hope for all of you to have a happy, healthy year with many smiles and so much love. Cannot believe it's 2020!

I've been outside most of the afternoon because so nice out. I spent time with the flock, and went next door to pick some tangelo's off the tree. I really like those!

Everything's going great so far!!! Yay 2020!!! Doing great with resolutions! Success with "no wining January"! Lost 2 lbs! Still on budget! Still on the "do-my-own-nails" commitment"! No major troubles with the chickens!

Of course, it's only day 3...
