Nearly afternoon but good morning too.

Always lots to do around here. Suns shining and rain in the future. Too bad it wouldn't move west.

Evening here. We had full sun until around noon, then we had a bit of a thunderstorm and heavy rains, and in the afternoon the sun decided to show it's face again. Pretty nice actually.

Felix you did a nice job, you must be retired also , how else could you have time to build such wonderful stuff. Rancher twice as much husband? Is that in girth or in love?
Q my lovely wife says all I do is make more work for myself all the time, but I say anything worth having is worth working for "'and then at".

I'm an easily distracted student, still about 40 years to go until retirement. Would need to get a degree first though, so I'm studying instead of working this summer, but it's all stuff you can do from home, and the deadlines are pretty relaxed, so I tend to select what I do according to weather. Rain is good for studying, sun is good for doing odd jobs in the garden.

Today we shall try our first homegrown new potatoes, the tater towers are starting to look like they're ready.

Studying is good as long as you put it to practical application. Your English is excellent so you arte ahead of me ,I really do not know what the native tongue of the Finns is.

It's Finnish, although my native tongue is Swedish, as I'm part of the 6% minority, Finnish Swedes. My mother is from a Finnish speaking home though, so I grew up bilingual (like most Finnish Swedes). I consider myself to be fluent in Finnish, Swedish and English, and I get by in German, more so lately as we moved in next to a family where the father is German, and the family moved back to Finland a few years ago after spending a couple of years over there. He speaks better Finnish than I do German though, but it's nice to practice.

I think it means time and putting up with him.

Of course that I suppose was at a time when wives were home makers and home all day. Not that they aren't now but many are not.

Off to pick blueberries and can more pickles. Meaties are all resting in the freezer. Now the turkeys have to run of the place. Some tomatoes are ready for the picking.
