Nice pics everyone. We've no water visible but the creek and it's need of a good clearing of blown down trees.

We used to have cats and our neighbor too, but ours all passed and she doesn't let hers out anymore since one was injured in a trap.

One summer we lost three cats between us. I'm just not up to sifting litter and DW won't. If we had a barn perhaps.

Just one feral here. Couldn't catch her so I fed her.

She has repaid me by clearing my flower beds of voles and my loft, coop, and shed of deer mice. Scaredy Cat does a great job.

Ah, now I understand your handle, it makes sense. I just thought it was that you were old and dried out with skin like the bark of an oak tree.
I stand corrected.

I have been using this username for about 20+ years. Way back when, when the Internet was all text. I loved working in white oaks, but hated to climb them (mature ones). I'll take that a complement, "I just thought it was that you were old and dried out with skin like the bark of an oak tree." One of the sayings about arborists, we aren't dead, we just smell that way (during the spring to fall you couldn't bathe enough).

Great pictures hehhible, You brought up many memories of tree plantings. I have to admit, any snow storm with accumulations of 6' - 12' is more then just a freak.......

Nothing new here . Hoping to go to Fla. next eek for some training. Well I 'm going and hoping the wife will go with me . She will want the children along of coarse .
I would rather leave them home but oh well!

Why would anyone want me to be the treasurer of their organization? After all the Princess took over the checkbook 50+ years ago after I bounced two checks to our landlord. Oh, that's right, it's nobody else gives a double da*n.

Just got the beagle club ledger current - I was derelict 6 months. Ledger, checkbook, and bank all have their own ideas as to our monetary worth. Thankfully they are only off by a couple hundred, and the bank says we have more than I say. Frankly my only qualifications are that I do pay the bills on time, and I am honest.
