Good morning chicken wrannglers
oesdog ,shopping for what?Groceries?Dresses?Coffee? All of the previous I assume!Hope you husband is doing better!
I've got men pooring concrete today at the new building across the street.Hope all goes well.Saturday work is a pain,oh well I was the one that decided to be self employed
my big idea to follow the dream I get what I deserve I guess.Have to get after it.
God Bless!

Getting ready to sit down with my first cup of coffee. There is frost on the ground. I guess it is cold enough now to start planting some winter rye grass for the birdies. It broke my heart last winter when I let them out to free range and there was nothing but dirt in the yard for them to eat!

Rushed back with Coffee - but your all off line darn - Guess I will just have to drink it myself!!!!!

Took Danny to the shopping mall in his wheelchair - gosh he is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Heavey now and hard to push!
DH was a little better today and was able for the time out we had. We met up with our eldest lad. He came and helped us push Danny and we took the two boys for lunch.
Danny misses Mike a lot so it was good for the boys to spend time together. Though the eldest boy talked none stop computors! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Honestly you would think the lad was 15yrs old not nearly 30!

My girls are out free ranging - Math ace don;t beat yourself up over the land! I am sure your girls found some worms and insects. My poor girls are in the somme! It is so high with mud. DH says it's ok if they can still put the top of their beaks out of the mud for air???????? I am thinking of getting them welly boots for christmas? Maybe a few straws too if the mud gets any deeper!!!!!

Karl - hope your project goes well for you. We were just shopping for some stuff DH needed for his photography and also a few christmas things. Not much really just dandering about.

Oesdog - have a good day all.

I didn't have frost here, math ace, but it sure did get cold! I am enjoying it, and I probably drank twice as much coffee as I normally do. Hope I can sleep. I might even need to turn the heat on. Down in the high 40s tonight.... Brrr!
I hope DH keeps getting better, Oesdog. BF 's parents were here all day, and it was a good visit. Tomorrow is church and some time to relax. Well, have a good night flock tenders.

It is sunday and I'm at work instead of church again! Well this will take it's coarse and I'll be on track again.O it is good to hear that DH is about again ,if only for ashort jaunt.
Chicks it is 60 and sunny here in central Il. eat your heart out "only for a day tomorrow it drops to 28 and freezing.
We poured concret yesterday,About 48 yards for the first 1/3 of the floor. The door was not tall enough and we had to dig the drive out to lower the entryway"glad the building had a dirt aprowch or things would have been ugly. The floor is 8" or about 200mm thick by 27.5 meters by 9 meters wide, yesterdays pour anyway.the total floor will be 60'x 100'@ 8" thick. That equals 91mX27.4m@ 200mm thick for you metric folks. Anyway I feel my age today "even though I fell of the ark" I'm like caleb and just as fit as I was at 40.Though a little sorer if I may say so.
Have a great sunday God Bless!

I lost all my tomatoe plants with the frost - - they are TOAST now. SHAME too because they all had green tomatoes on them. I am hoping there is enough energy in the plants to give the fruit a couple of more days growth.

The frost took out several of my green bean plants too!

BUMMER!

Lettuce, collards, broccoli, red cabbage, and spinach all look good.

I am sorry about your garden, mine has been gone for months, but i bet if I went out there would be small heads of brocoli. The frost does not do it in as easily as other plants.
