I'm a new duck mom and I want to make sure that I have everything before I get hit with the cold front. I'm in Houston,TX. It's supposed to get down into the 20s F. It doesn't usually get that cold down here and we tend to have heavy humidity being this close to the Gulf of Mexico.

I have a wooden duck house for my two girls. I have straw and pine chips to put down tomorrow (cleaning out the house of old). I don't put food and water in their house. They do have a kiddie pool for a pond.

Am I good and everything or is there anything else I should do?

they will be just fine 😃 my ducks don’t care if it’s in the 20s but some of my older ducks eight years old don’t care for the teens and lower though I have to throw straw on the ground for them to sstand on around their feeders and water buckets however, inside the dry draft free coop at night with deep straw, they stay cozy down to zero F and even below
