I have no idea what Aurora's codes are (although I have a friend who lives there and he makes me think they are pretty strict about things), anyway, Denver is actually encouraging people to have chickens in their backyards. The Botanic Gardens gives actual classes to help people get started.

You may want to give them a call and see what they know about you having chickens and if you aren't supposed to see if they can help you get things changed. I'd be "quietly" proactive to make sure you can keep your chickens.​

who live in Aurora and have chickens.

I am secretary of the club and I am wanting to update our website to include zoning rules and regulations for different cities and towns in Colorado regarding chickens. It will give people new to chickens an idea of where they can live and have them legally.
Anyone have any info they can give me?

You can have chickens in Denver, but you have to pay $50 a head each year for them.

You can have them in Boulder

You can't have them in Longmont, but I actually live in Boulder county, so I can.


BTW, I have 50 of the Meyer Rainbow layers assortment coming in on July 1st, to sell. So if you know anybody who's looking for chicks here in CO let them know to check out my posting on Craigslist.
