Colored chicks?

Ok I am new to this whole chicken thing and Have seen chicks in diffrent color's...Now I mean like green, purple, etc...Umm Are they dying them that color? Thanks in advance!

Yes it's Easter.. I have heard of two ways they do it .. Either dye them with food coloring or other non toxic dye.. Or some dye them inside the egg. The color goes away after the first molt.

There is a post from early today with pictures of colored chicks, do a search and you might find it. If I remember where I saw it I will let you know.

I think its cute but make sure the dye says "non-toxic"!

I think it's horrible it makes them look like toys, which will only end bad.
