Thank you Becky and Bill! You are great for letting us "hang with our peeps" at your home.

I had a great time. And today I learned that I can process a chicken.

I had a great time, and I'm sure everyone else did too. I took a ton of pictures which are uploading now. We went there with 4 empty crates and came home with 5 FULL crates

We got a beautiful trio of silkies and a mixed roo from PC, 3 chicks from eggs I gave to Henrietta23, a roo from Bestponymilo, and a gorgeous white frizzle(turken mix?) from KieriBri. We;ll be having a coop building party at our house soon(most likely after the guinea and quail hatch so PC can take some home

), so everyone get ready for another fun-filled chicken event

Forgot to add that Don(PC) and his son travis did an excellent processing demo, they culled 5 birds total, which were delicious.

It was a little humid and warm. PP's roo Kill got a bit thirsty. What a sight to see all those roos wandering around as if they'd known each other forever!

Bill gave tractor rides. You can just see the tops of the heads of the four little guys:

Today was such an AMAZING success!!! What an absolute WONDERFUL group
of people to spend a Sunday with. I am grinning from ear to ear.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO BECKY & BILL!!!!!! You were the BEST HOSTS anyone
could possibly ask for.

For those who weren't there it was a constant conversation and chicken party from
9:30 to 5:30 when we finally got all packed up. Chicken, GREAT people, chickens,
gardens, chickens, food, chickens, honey bees, purple salad, chickens, brownies,
fresh chicken on the grill, chats about tropical islands, chickens, Jimmy's brother Rudy,
a little Japanese Bantam who thinks he's a parrot, GREAT PEOPLE, a couple passing
raindrops, nice weather, I could go all night long.....

Oh, can't forget rides on the trailer pulled by Bill. The kids were in HEAVEN!!!!!!
(I was too)

I knew it was going to be fun but this was one of the best picnic type events I
have ever been too. Thank you all for a wonderful and memorable day.

The bators plugged back in now too thanks to PP.

Good! You put on a great party!! It was all just so beautiful. I wonder how many of us are longing for bees now?? Here's PC and family's silkie flock. They hung out under a dogwood tree look like yard art.
