Sees Jimmy's post about Orpington chicks.

*twitches*

Feels traitorous to her other breeds which she doesn't love *quite* as much.

I could tuck them in the corners, hubby would never know right?

I thought I'd join in on this topic. :)
I live in Uncasville, soon I'll be moving to East Haddam. I have little Silkies, mostly black and black splashes. Later tonight, I'll be getting my first Lavender hen.

So exciting! Maybe this year I'll take one or two to a fair somewhere and see how we do. I guess I better look up the breed standards for Silkies before I go anywhere and insult other Silkie enthusiasts with my lack of knowledge for a show bird or showing in general. lol

I'll show a horse all day long but chickens are still quite a mystery. Any advice for a first timer?

I can't I would be sneaking that baby right in the corner ASAP!!!! lol

One of my Orpies is named Baby. She got picked on quite a bit when we first got her and we were always saying "No one puts Baby in the corner" so it kind of stuck.

lol

I have lavender, black and buff Orpingtons....really I need to round out the color wheel no?
