Consolidated Kansas

Sounds like the same bag I got at the east side TSC - they probably both made the decision to start carrying it at the same time. My quail are really enjoying it. Every few days I dump some sand and a handful of DE into their dust bathing box and they go nuts to try to be the first to get in there.

i am so glad you told me about it - when i told them east side had i t- they checked on it for me

east is soooooooooo far frm me lol

thanx!!!!

LOL. The funny thing is, the west side one is actually the closest to me but I always seem to end up at the east side one because it is right on the way to my barn to see my horse so its easy to stop in there on the way past. If I didn't visit the horse several times a week, I'd be at the west side one for sure. I've had the chooks longer than the horse and used to always drive to the west side store for chicken supplies.

Just thought I'd add for anyone that is interested, that both TSC and Atwoods allow dogs. With this summer heat, I don't like leaving my dog in the car, but always have her with me on trips to the barn, so I finally got around to asking them and they said its cool (on leash of course).

well in this weather im thinking culling roos would be easy - just spray em with some vegetable oil and have some fried chicken! lol

today i am going to be ambitious and try to work on the chicken yard - trying to make it a bit cooler for them - with dips in the pool to keep me cool while working lol

today is all about keeping cool for us - so while working in the chicken yard - i fill their wading pool and let my 4 year old wade in it - we also had the hose with a sprinkler going - one of those ones that is just a plastic circle that has shower effect - think the girls are enjoying the breeze blowing it on them
