Very cool! I never made it that far North in India, wish I had more time there.

Hope things are good for you during this time, friends of mine in Pune are saying it's ok but I think scarey too.

Very few tourists come here. Few that come are from Buddhist countries. Buddha was born close from my place. Famous dystopian writer George Orwell was also born here too. His house is protected by the government as "heritage site". Many people talk about Buddha, but few talk about Orwell. I think in the aftermath of the pandemic people will read him more.

45000+ cases, 1600+ dead India. 500+ cases in Bihar 4 dead. They say it's not that bad. I don't trust them.

I definitely like Orwell and a lot of scifi, dystopian, etc. books and movies. That is cool to learn he was born there, I did not know that. Movies like Elysium or Gattica, books like animal farm, are always good stuff! A newer movie called Her was interesting. Then there's the techno-dystopian sort of stuff like the movie Artificial Intelligence are fun to watch. I need to find some new ones!

I agree with you and am suspicious. My state has far more than that but only a fraction of the population and no where near the density to places like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, etc. Time will tell. I hope they keep the lockdown as long as possible.

All my Indian colleagues think I'm crazy for having chickens haha! Even the ones from small villages.

Your colleagues must be all Hindus. Christians and Moslems in rural areas keep chickens. Low caste Hindus also keep chickens, but when they become rich they stop, because they think it is a business of lower classes.

I don't like it. It's very sad. I don't discuss it, it's better to ignore.

Yes most are, some Muslims too though. I guess some rich people here in the US think the same too about owning chickens. India was such an intersting place, I miss going there. Northern India and Nepalese food was better for me than Southern, Kerala food was too hot!! Why people eat ungodly hot food when it's 34 celcius outside air temp is beyond my mind's comprehension!! :D :D

I miss most the Thali style restaurants and garlic butter naan with so much garlic like I've never seen! So many fresh happy memories!!

Thank you for sharing the view, hope you stay healthy and the lack of pollution is a positive out of all of this.

Well I'm still hatching and selling. People are buying more this year than last year. I have truly enjoyed helping people and helping them learn.

I plan on keeping the bators going for two more months. What isn't sold will find a home or a freezer.

This is a Deathlayer Golden laced polish cross. It's siblings is all black 🤷🏼‍♀️ genetics loves messing with me.

Anyone else providing their own meat?
