Let's be hopeful that this less-lethal, but highly contagious variant offers the herd immunity we've been waiting for. Take very good care of yourselves. Be proactive. Eat well, get rest, go outside and get some fresh air, reach out to those you can help... and pray.

Most of my family currently has covid. I'm doing all of the above.... and planning my spring garden, looking forward to getting back to our family camp, loving on my dogs and birds... and praying.
Careful with the dogs! I’ve seen advisories not to be around them more than is necessary when you test positive since they can get it as well.

It still matters, maybe more with the fines.
The store has to assign an employee for enforcement....would you want that job?
It doesn't matter what your opinion is on it is what my comment meant, doesn't matter govt is in control, someone is going to pay for it, all of us.
Businesses/stores do not hire people to enforce, they have a hard time hiring people to do jobs they need.
And no I don't want that job but I have it, I deal with public every day, truck drivers, if state inspectors are around I have to tell them wear a mask if you don't like it sit in your F'n truck. Any other day they don't have to but those days they do and they comply because they deal with same state inspectors we do.

I would guess, since it’s suggested to get a booster six months after your second shot, that after roughly six months it starts to wane. At least that is what I’ve read and what dr”a and the CDC say.
I heard six months also, but this one was two months on booster, I don't think the experimental vaccine can prevent covid, evidence everywhere, but it can help on death evidence everywhere, the vaccines should be considered a treatment not a vaccine.
Vaccines prevent disease, these ones do not, just prevent death for some that are susceptible.

I have five breakthrough covid infections in my friends and family. All fully vaxed, one in the hospital, a couple pretty sick, the others live with the sick and are asymptomatic.

Just thought you guys would like to know.
I am sorry to hear this. I hope everyone get better soon. Your family and friends are in my thoughts.

My boss's roommate that has covid right now works for a private ambulance company. Typically he's "transport" (i.e. delivering dead people) but occasionally he transports alive people. He's fully vaxxed and boosted (otherwise he wouldnt have a job). Still got it. My boss tried to ease my concern by saying "dont worry hes sleeping on the couch" but they live in a two bedroom apartment with 2 children. Theyre all gonna get it even with the best precautions
Not necessarily. My husband slept in the same bed with me while I was sick, hung out with me for four days straight over thanksgiving l and didn’t get sick. Oldest grandson didn’t either.
