The price part is the variable and raises (and lowers) based on s&d.
The per barrel part is the unit of measure. Like a bushel of corn.

I have a feeling historians will say we could have limited WW lll if we had stopped them in Ukraine. I hope I am wrong.

Unfortunately if we take on Russia to defend the poor Ukranians, that STARTS WWIII. Putin doesn't want to lose, seems the more he is backed into a corner the more paranoid and dangerous he gets. He may just decide to launch a few "tactical" nukes in Ukraine.

My last appointment with a ob GYN they tried to bring in a student and I had a fit because they brought her in while I was naked.

That is bad. I've never had a doctor bring in a student/intern without asking beforehand. And I've never had anyone come in before I'd gotten that galdarn gown tied around back. Someone needs to redesign those things! They always knock before coming in.

I heard on the news that Russia only provides 8 % of our oil and 3% of that is crude. Why does that equate to this price hike? Makes no dang sense

The current price of oil has skyrocketed on FEAR that there will be shortages. There is no shortage now but we are paying now for a potential future shortage.

His dad doesn't have much of a filter anymore. As for the gyno I'm glad you agree that that is something that should be asked beforehand. Oh and I had no gown...it was a sheet of one ply paper to go over my bare body. You only get a gown if youre in the hospital or having a test that requires it

We do indeed. We have more oil reserves than any country. Instead we hick up the costs to support an EV car purchase an "build back better" more like bankrupt America better if you ask me...
