Addictions are strange and complicated. I have known heroin users who could stop on a whim, but were right back when under stress.
Another who had smoked 2-3 packs of cigarettes a day and could quit the nicotine but not the physical habit.
Of course these are outliers, not discounting the horror of those physically addicted to a chemical. Just saying there are personal variations.
I watch a TV show called Lockup and I heard a woman on it talk about her addiction to a certain drug. She said she didn't miss the high but she missed the experience. She talked about how the experience of lighting up and watching the smoke building etc. It was like hearing someone talk of a very fond memory. It was really sad to me because I knew that if she got out of jail she'd end up right back there because all she associated with the drug was positive memories. Really unfortunate

Good point. A lot of it is the ritual.
I was close to a nurse at who had been caught using at work and went through rehab. She confided in me that "I know I could go to that drug dispenser, give myself a shot and all my problems would go away. And that is a terrible thing to know." Of course she also knew it would be temporary and it would destroy her life.
But it was a horrible temptation she had to live with.

I'm almost done reading j.d. Vance's memoir and apparently his mom had the same issue. She was a nurse and it all started with her stealing pills from work. I guess she graduated to heroin eventually. It's not just a struggle for the one individual and that's what they can sometimes selfishly believe. It effects everyone and everything close to them

COVID-19 Vaccines:A Risk Factor for Stroke

This research sought to determine if there is an increased risk of stroke in patients after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.Cerebral venous thrombosis was of particular interest because this rare variant of stroke is generally seen in younger women of child-bearing potential due to the physiological risk factors inherent to this patient population...."

REPORT: One of the most heavily vaxxed counties in America is now facing a heart attack crisis.

98% of people in King County, WA (Seattle) took at least one COVID shot, and the data is not looking good.

A peer-reviewed study has found a jaw-dropping 1,236% surge in excess heart attack deaths among King County's 2.2 million residents.

2020: 11 excess heart attack deaths
2021: 75 excess heart attack deaths
2022: 111 excess heart attack deaths
2023: 147 excess heart attack deaths, a 1,236% increase compared to 2020.

Moreover, cardiac arrest deaths, in general, rose about 25% from 2020 to 2023. In the same time frame, King County's population shrunk slightly.

Reflecting on this alarming data, Dr. Peter McCullough said, “So it looks like the vaccines are the smoking gun.”

“This is now fully peer-reviewed in the emergency medicine literature. We've messaged the Medic One unit in Seattle. They clearly need to do more research to figure out how soon these vaccines were administered and to whom.”

Difficult to determine if it's the people who had covid and a vaccine or people who had the vaccine or people who just had covid. I know when I got sick it was difficult to get a test. It was a 2 week wait. Mainly for people to test so they could go back to work.
So far I have not found the peer reviewed version. Here is a pre-review version:
https://www.preprints.org/manuscript/202405.1665/v1

Before looking at the details, if you attribute that to people who had covid and that population had a 98% vaccination rate, it doesn't speak much for the effectiveness of the vaccine.

EDIT: I think this is the peer reviewed version:

I had about 6 Covid vaccinations since vaccination was available. The last one was a year ago. Both of us had Covid 1. I had high fever and terrible body ache for 1 day, I took Paracetamol for 2 days. I was very hungry during this time and ate and sleep a lot. It was down to sleeping, eating and repeat. It felt tired for a few days. It took 7 days to finally tested negative to covid.
I have never had spring season allergy, but since Covid time, I have experience allergy like itchy skin. My friend has breathing issues and she had covid 2 and also had many Covid vaccinations.
We were working during Covid lockdown. At work the desk were space out, some work at home, then switch back and forth so that only small number of staff are in the office. The company got a big air filter machine in the office.
I wonder what are the long term healthy issues I might have in regarding to taking that so many Covid Vaccination? On my part, I just need to take those vaccinations or die from Covid. Report of death from Covid was high each day.
