Today was the first day in my life (that I can remember) in which I used the provided antiseptic wipes on the grocery cart handles. Normally I just walk around the store picking my nose.

haha not really on the last part but it did sound funny.

I always wipe down the surfaces I tend to touch.

It takes a live, healthy population to be consumers. Never heard of a dead person buying a house, car, groceries, whatever.

At the same time it takes money to buy things. No one is giving away toilet paper for free. And unfortunately a lot of retirees rely on investments in order to get by.

(Not arguing that one is more important than the other, both sides of the coin matter)

I’m not quite that old and I’m thinking you didn’t live through it either. But what we did learn from that, country folk will and do survive.
