less than 5% mortality
That is really, really a HUGE % considering you keep comparing to the flu which is closer to 1/10th of 1% . Why are you downplaying this? In just a few weeks the hospitals nationwide will be overrun, I hope you or anyone you love does not have to go for ANY reason because the system will not be able to handle it.

Roll20 REALLY needs to improve their user interface. Figuring this out is a mess. D:
I've got it working but it took two hours.

My fence has always had a padlock on it but nobody here is anywhere near that desperate. Quite the opposite, most folks are apathetic of me butchering chickens and dislike it at best. Suburban folks aren't exactly inclined to offing their own animals for food. Similarly while most don't care and a few are happy i keep egg chickens, some are grossed out by eggs that aren't white and in the grocery store.

The mobile app is a mess, but it’s not too bad on the laptops...

I’m having trouble moving my eggs, and getting meat chicks ordered,

Question....(not trying to be argumentative) when people in general say that the flu has a higher mortality rate, are they going by the yearly totals when they say this?

What I mean is...what if we (general we) take the number of deaths via the flu in a one month period and compare that to the death rate of Covid-19 in say, the last month. The world has only been at his for a few months now with Covid, not even a year yet, so how could there be enough data yet to accurately compare the two?
Are people who say this (about the flu) using statistical data? Or are they (whoever they are) using projections on what they think the death rate might be?
Ain't over yet, and I don't trust the models, experts, I trust them about as much as I trust the weather man anymore..
We won't know till it's over, and dang I hope there is a when it's over...

What's the mortality rate in NYC, they are testing a lot so mortality actually looks pretty safe. You want to hang out there right now?
It doesn't matter the location. If you get it and you're meant to die it's going to happen. No amount of screaming that the sky is falling is going to change that.
My husband has been directly exposed to someone who tested positive and is currently in the waiting phase. We were told it's business as usual unless one of presents symptoms. No precautions beyond what everyone else is doing are necessary.

Alabama has jumped to over 700 cases today and it's getting scary to be honest how infectious it is. Our first confirmed case was only March 13th. In the grand scheme I know that number isn't alot compared to some places, but still it's been rising pretty fast. It makes things we normally needed hard to find, but we're calm. Just wanted to share that we hope brighter days are soon ahead- everyone please stay healthy and stay safe. Thinking about all those who have children at home earlier than expected or who have lost jobs. Those who have sick family or have lost someone. Be strong

I drove down my street today and there were 5 cars at one of my neighbors houses where there is normally only 1. People are not doing the right thing.
Not here either. Our county issued a public announcement that if you are coming from NYC to your summer home , please bring two weeks of food and stay in your home...
They've been swamping our stores for three weeks now, and what two weeks of food are they going to bring if their stores are empty. What is the government supposed to do? Put up a WALL?
I don't blame them for wanting to get out of there but dang I wish they would stay put.. This might take upstate from from very few cases per county to ... I dont want to know, or maybe no change, IDK?

If you get it and you're meant to die
Fair enough, if you are meant to die thats one thing. But if you have it and you are going on "business as usual" then you could be spreading it. Maybe you can live with bringing it to someone else idk
summer home
I live in an area of second homes too, the locals have their (figurative) pitchforks out and are challenging visitors, asking them why they are here

If you look at and can believe the data being reported it's simple math. Covid had less than 5% mortality rate until yesterday. I haven't calculated the numbers for today. According to the CDC the entire world has seen roughly 20k+ deaths so far from Covid but the US alone has seen 20k+ deaths for influenza. Depending on rate of infection for Covid19 it's mortality rate will likely come out at or maybe slightly above that of influenza.

Conventional flu stats are quoted by the "season" which begins in Sept. Covid has been going on in the US for just a bit over 3 weeks and in the world in just about 3 months.
