What is your favorite WFS? I prefer Farmer John. Do you have meat in your freezer to get you by?And honestly, that is something that will ultimately affect me since that factory processes my favorite bacon.

That's gotta feel comforting. We are so lucky. So so lucky! Our grocery store had a big buy one get one sale on meat right before the shtf and it's my habit to stock up when they have those sales. Soup, stew, pot pies and sandwiches have helped me stretch it a long way.
My favorite is hickory smoked, Black Label regular cut. And come on now, you know I've admitted to being a "food hoarder." LOL! I'm usually well stocked with meat, bacon, flour, chocolate and coffee. I've never considered hoarding TP until now. Who knew? But it's now on the list if I can ever find some again. What is your favorite WFS? I prefer Farmer John. I'm starting to get low on some stuff, but I haven't grocery shopped in over a month so not surprising. I'm thankful now for taking the time and hassle to can and all the extra tomatoes and veggies from gardens past. I see lots of soups and stews in our future too.
OMG squash fritters! I haven't had those in ages. So yummy.I canned a boatload of tomato products last summer. I still have lots of them, plus pickles, jams and peaches. Also still have squash fritters in the freezer. No, no shortages here except for the elusive TP!
Yes they are and someway to store all those bazillion summer squash we get every year.OMG squash fritters! I haven't had those in ages. So yummy.
I just candled, 9 out of 12 for sure have veins, of the 3 remaining 2 are green eggs and hard to tell, the last one no viens. The friend who I got the eggs from had just hatched 9 out of 11 so I am hopeful.I say candle tonight

Thanks, BDutch. I've bookmarked it. And thanks for pointing out that the chit chat can become an impediment for people whose first language isn't English. I think your new more focused thread is a smart solution to that problem. |
