We are so lucky. So so lucky! Our grocery store had a big buy one get one sale on meat right before the shtf and it's my habit to stock up when they have those sales. Soup, stew, pot pies and sandwiches have helped me stretch it a long way.
That's gotta feel comforting.
I'm starting to get low on some stuff, but I haven't grocery shopped in over a month so not surprising. I'm thankful now for taking the time and hassle to can and all the extra tomatoes and veggies from gardens past. I see lots of soups and stews in our future too.

What is your favorite WFS? I prefer Farmer John. Do you have meat in your freezer to get you by?
My favorite is hickory smoked, Black Label regular cut. And come on now, you know I've admitted to being a "food hoarder." LOL! I'm usually well stocked with meat, bacon, flour, chocolate and coffee. I've never considered hoarding TP until now. Who knew? But it's now on the list if I can ever find some again. :lau

I canned a boatload of tomato products last summer. I still have lots of them, plus pickles, jams and peaches. Also still have squash fritters in the freezer. No, no shortages here except for the elusive TP!

I’m vegetarian so I’m pretty comfortable with what I have right now- garden’s growing, chickens are laying, I have wayyy too many beans in storage  And like I said before, I have 50 lbs of flour and another huge bag (can’t remember the exact weight) of sugar, so I’ll make it, I think. I’m also very lucky to live in an area with local farmers who are still working hard and providing for us.
I think that’s one thing that is keeping my chin up. I’m very privileged to have everything I need food-wise.

OMG squash fritters! I haven't had those in ages. So yummy.

I started a new thread on Corona for everyone who is interested in what going on in the world. And doesn't like to read so much about gardening, cooking and other hobby's.

Thanks, BDutch. I've bookmarked it.

And thanks for pointing out that the chit chat can become an impediment for people whose first language isn't English. I think your new more focused thread is a smart solution to that problem.
