Hmm. Gonna be googling dishwashers today, I think! And, how to replace a seal.
There are some excellent youtube tutorials on repairing appliances. Our washer quit working about 6 weeks ago and we googled the error code and order the part which was fairly easily replaced. $246 repair which to me is a godsend considering what new machines cost.

does it leak around the door or from the pump, there should be a bottom panel under the door that can be removed. when it runs you should be able to see where it's leaking

Don't know/ can't tell. Somewhere under the bottom. And not every time. I had a guy come out and look at it once and after extensive examination he said repairs would be expensive and we'd be better off buying a new one. Something about a broken seal but he didn't really seem to be looking at the door gasket (it's a front loader). The thing doesn't wash real well, and the dishes don't dry, either. @featherhead007, we use the little gel pods but once a couple years ago when I wasn't home apparently we were out of them and my very helpful DD filled up the little cup with Dawn dishwashing liquid instead and bubbles poured out, blanketing the floor. I only heard about it recently and never knew why the thing didn't work right, it was fairly new at the time. You know how kids are, they can destroy an anvil. 😉 She is infamous for this kind of thing, lol. Using oven cleaner for furniture spray, turtle wax on windows, that sort of thing, when she was little. 🤣

What CPAP do you use?

Im using the philips respironics and I use the pillow cushion from the dream wear line.

Well, I'm using likely the same model head gear..... The one that reminded me instantly of Hannibal Lector.(giggles)
The myair breather.
We also have the adjustable bed that allows from flat to lounge or "zero gravity" aka astronaut launch position. I do have a couple specialty pillows for neck cradling and magnetic therapy as well. I tried to take a picture around lunchtime and the browser went in a nanosecond from trying to upload the picture to logged out of the forum and refusing to let me login for over an hour.

I never implied your life doesn't have value. I just don't understand how we've gotten to this point.
I look at wildlife that eat real food and I don't know a jaguar or hippo that is on regular medication.
Humans for the most part, don't eat real food. Artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners, artificial colors, etc. are pervasive in the human diet. The human body doesn't know what to do with those things. The end result is unknown.
After my mother died, I went to my father's house. He had a table that was solidly covered with medications. I said, "Dad, why don't you get rid of all these meds you are no longer taking."
He said, "I take all those"
I said, "I think it is time you found a new doctor."
He said, "Oh no, I have a wonderful doctor."
He was dead a year later.
I call that 'practicing medicine'.
I am so sorry you are getting the responses that you have for posing a genuine question. How much of the health decline is iatragenic, how much is dietary, sedentary lifestyles, etc.? Does the medical advertising for this drug or that play into it at all? How about overdiagnosis? Maybe the human race isn't getting more sickly, just being diagnosed more often with things that aren't really diseases. Just things to think about, not to fight about.

There have been a lot of sacrifices but I really feel that we didn't start paying attention soon enough and locking down soon enough.
There must be a reason that a country (USA) with a mere 4% of the global population continues to have approximately 25% of the globe's cases and deaths. We have done something wrong. Or should I say, not nearly as good of a response as other countries.
I think Americans just don't have much patience.

We did too little, too late. Other issue when you compare the US to other countries, is enforcement - many states admitted that there wasn't much done to enforce government orders because no one knew who was supposed to be enforcing anything. My county reported it got hundreds of calls about individuals and companies flaunting the rules, and I think only 2 of those cases actually had any action taken.

Maybe, Hubby just wanted to help you (so he could have more time with you) not busy washing dishes?

Oh, I know he was tired of watching me do dishes all the time, all while standing next to an unused dishwasher. He bugged me about it for years before finally saying "Look, we have a brand new dishwasher to use, why not try it? If you're not happy I'll help you rewash everything you put in there."

I think, and please CC correct me if I'm wrong..but I think @ChickenCanoe wasn't putting anyone down for taking medications that ones needs for true health ailments and conditions.
At least that is not how I read it. I think in general we are an over medicated society because some drug companies are in the business of making money...not saving lives.

Many "medications" exist because people don't eat healthy, exercise, or take decent care of themselves. Too many in fact. It's easier to ask the doctor, for example, to get a script for viagra just because. Some people really do have an ED issue, but I'm betting more than half of those in possession of an ED drug aren't taking them for proper reasons.
Allergies, intolerances, and GI issues...something I know a LOT about... are another area where it's easier to take a medicine that to get an allergy test, GI tests, try an elimination diet to find the cause of ...headaches, rashes, upset stomach, bowel issues, growth issues, memory issues, upper respiratory problems, etc...
Some of those conditions are true and real but some are created by external or environmental issues, like diet, and other solutions can fix them.

When kiddo was little, and Momma intuition told me something wasn't right...the Peds just wanted to prescribe medication after medication and told me I was crazy when I said I think there's an allergy somewhere and there are GI issues.
Back and forth for months and he would not write a referral. Any referral.
So, every week I took kiddo in with some new problem. Took about 2 months of camping out on the doorstep and telling the Peds I was not going to go away before he finally sent the allergy referral to shut me up.

Turns out, we walked out of the allergist's visit with a list of 35 allergies. And that was just the first visit. Diet changes because of having the right information made a HUGE difference in kiddo's health. Gigantic!
Return Peds visit saw the firing of that Peds and started seeing another one. Immediately got the referral to GI specialist and turns out kiddo had major GI problems too.

Anyway, if I had listed to the one peds, I would have continued to have a very sick child being pumped full of medications that were not doing what kiddo needed. Instead, got to the root of the problem and got the correct medications. Epi-pens to save kiddo's life, GI meds and treatments, and other life long meds to save kiddo. But it took digging to get there and not blindly taking whatever meds the first Peds insisted upon.
Some Docs are golden and see things in a more holistic way and other docs certainly are not. They think everything is fixed with a medication and don't bother to try finding the root cause.

Plenty of people truly need medications to save them from fatal conditions. Some people need medication to replace things their bodies don't make. Some people have to take medications to correct the imbalances n their bodies that their environment has caused (chemicals, nutritional depletion from our soils, thus nutritional deficient foods, exposure to harmful things at work places, hidden toxins,....ect)
But some people could be better off taking better care of themselves and stop eating drive through food instead of turning to medications to fix something they are creating.

I honestly don't think CC was trying to ruffle feathers. Those not in our shoes can't really understand what it is like to be in our shoes.

Edit- I'm sure typos abound today. I ain't even gonna try.

I take a once-a-day med that, as long as I take it in the morning, does its'job and I'm fine. If I forget, or don't eat a significant breakfast (it requires food) and don't take the med until after lunch or later, it gives me horrendous nightmares! It took my pharmacist to figure that out, so so you might try doing a phone conference with yours. Doctors know what the meds are supposed to do, but a pharmacist knows side effects and reactions. Be sure to have all of your meds and times in front of you when you call. Fingers crossed ... a simple time adjustment may take care of both your issues.
I appreciate the honesty and thoughtful reference point. Admittedly the last few weeks I have had a metric crap-tonne of stuff to overwhelm me. Getting a new roof, two dogs with Vet visits (one was preparing for a end of life visit, one today for a freak balloning in the elbow 6 days ago) & a car accident w/everyone is okay......got back frommvet and I'm way past ready for a nap......
